Process Control Engineer

Erith, dartford, Kent, essex,     

To take responsibility for all Process Control Engineering whilst providing technical support & assistance to the Maintenance Manager and the rest of the Engineering / Production function.

Main responsibilities:

•    To identify Process Control Requirements on site.
•    To design, configure and implement process control solutions.
•    To be accountable for the implementation and maintenance of a reliable process control system to ensure compliance with the requirements of the relevant H&S legislation, PPC Permit and HACCP and GMP system requirements.
•    To assist in the management of significant H&S, Environmental, Food Safety and Quality incidents.
•    To Manage and advise contractors in relation to process control and specific projects.
•    To join European task groups to support automation and process control projects at other sites around Europe.

Qualification and experience:

       An MSc, BSc, MEng or BEng in Chemical Technology, Process Engineering or a similar discipline with a strong affinity to the process industry (or experience working at this level).
    In excess of 1 years work experience in Process Automation or Process Control.
       Strong communication skills & the ability to work well under pressure.
    Good MS Office skills.
