We are delighted to announce that our Care Worker of the Month award winner for November is Balraj Kaur Rai – a highly dedicated and compassionate home support worker. Balraj was nominated by Care Manager at Hayes Staff Recruitment Ltd, Emma O’Brien.

Over the years, Bal has provided outstanding home care to our team and the individuals we serve, always going above and beyond to ensure that those under their care receive not only the highest standard of assistance but also genuine kindness and respect.

Recently, Bal demonstrated unparalleled devotion when providing palliative care to one of our fellow carers. In a time of great emotional and physical strain, Bal was a constant presence, offering not just professional care, but also emotional support and comfort. Despite the immense challenges, Bal never left their side, remaining by their side until their final moments. This kind of dedication is rare and speaks volumes about Bal’s character, heart, and commitment to those they care for.

Throughout the years, I have come to know Bal as someone whose skill and expertise in home care are matched only by their profound empathy. Whether supporting someone in their daily activities or offering a compassionate hand during their most difficult moments, Bal has been a pillar of support to all of us.
